Cruising yacht Blink will soon turn left out of Welly harbour for a relaxing (Tui ad insert) two handed delivery to AKL in prep for the RNI.

Fine dining fare for cruising holidays include UHT style Indian or Italian. Exciting alternatives include Italian or Indian.  To mix things up, a little exotica freeze dried Moroccan or Thai may be served courtesy of Backcountry cafe. 

Blink is looking great with a few small final tweaks. Boxing Day weather is looking favourable with a 20 knot Southerly  predicted. This will take us speedily past the revered landmarks of Castlepoint and then East Cape.

In the last RNI, Rob told us that he got so tired and started to hallucinate that he was driving the Karma Police through a BP servo to buy a pie. 

On Blinks arrival estimated to be sometime around midnight, there will be a hot pie (TW is not a pie eater but a korma pie is very much acceptable), custard squares and rumbos.

Dinghy Boat Plans | Blink is Launched

Dinghy Boat Plans

Blink was splashed at Seaview today and motored over, accompanied by Caniwi Te Ruru from RPNYC, to Chaffers Marina, her permanent base.  All went very smoothly apart from the weather, which was at its worst for the hour or so of the launch and delivery across the harbour.

And the water came up to exactly where Mr Shaw said it would.
